All jewellery pieces are crafted in either 18K or 9K solid gold.
18K solid gold is composed of 75% pure gold and 25% metal alloys to strengthen the gold. It is widely known to require almost no special care and will never tarnish over time.
9K gold is composed of 37.5% gold and 62.5% metal alloys. Our 9K White gold, 9K Yellow gold and 9K Black gold are just as hardy as 18K gold and will not tarnish.
While 9K Rose gold is tarnish resistant, it does require a little bit more care to keep it in tip-top condition because of the copper content in the metal alloys that gives Rose gold its alluring pink hue. At Jouer by Simone, we pride ourselves on providing the finest quality and craftsmanship. For this reason, our 9K pieces only come in White, Yellow and Black gold. Rose gold options are only available in 18K.
